Day 106 - Point Quobba
Point QuobbaSaturday, 4 May 2013
Breakfast and a walk and then put Tuka in the van. Then went for a early morning snorkle at low tide. Saw plenty of fish and corals.
I drove to Quobba Station and had a look around. Campsite and station are located as I was told behind the sanddunes. Then drove about ten kilometres past it and stopped and looked at the coastline. On the way back I stopped at a memorial to the HMAS Sydney.
Another snorkle in the afternoon. Saw a ray but unable to take a photograph before the ray hid underneath some coral. It was a good time snorkelling in amongst the wide variety of fish, corals and sponges.
