Day 51 - Greens Island
Greens IslandSunday, 10 March 2013
Woken up in the middle of night by rain. Had to bring Tuka inside as I didn't have awning up. Rain continued all night and in the morning. Had planned a day of driving and walking through the forests. Decided to stay put and read.
Did some reading, tidying of the van and some walks in between showers. I managed to photograph some of the flowering gums when it stopped raining in the afternoon. One advantage of the rain was that it kept the March flies away. Saw some wattlebirds and honeyeaters feeding on the flowers and ringnecked parrots feeding in the grass.
